Christine Haese
Christine Haese was born in Arizona and now lives in New Mexico. She lives with her husband in a home they built, surrounded by 3.2 million acres of The Gila National Forest - its forests and wilderness; rivers and lakes; mountains and mesas; wildlife and gardens. They share their lives with their companion dogs, horses, a flock of chickens and plenty of wild creatures. She has been a Master Gardener in Arizona and now in New Mexico.
The best times in life are when we are with family. Our parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, children and grandchildren help me create life stories to write about. Every visit brings new ideas - every adventure stimulates new article and story ideas.
"With every word I write, I believe I am creating a legacy for our family. The stories and research brings new ways to share ideas and remember past interest with our family.
Christine has written for High Country News, Bird Watcher Digest, Organic Gardening, Flower & Garden and Pet Tales magazines. She won awards in poetry, fiction and non fiction.

All of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been
And how I got to where I am
But these stories don't mean anything
When you've got no one to tell them to
It's true: I was made for you.
